Why Professional Football Should Be Banned From Network TV

It’s no secret that many people (males for the most part) that watch سایت رومابت ورود, also enjoy consuming beer as a part of the ritual. Since, it’s a well-known fact that alcohol destroys brain cells, not only does watching football on network television, not have any social value, any redeeming qualities, or any educational value, but it also progressively diminishes the intelligence of the viewers. It’s bad enough that our kids are getting fatter, sicker, and dumber as a consequence of their poor diets, do we need to dumb them down even further by allowing them to participate in this fall football ritual?

Not only should we ban football programming from network TV, we should also ban fantasy football, because that also has no intrinsic value to anybody. Many people might argue that fantasy football teaches the participants about statistics, but really… football statistics aren’t statistics that have any value in the real world. They aren’t going to help you with your physics, chemistry, or science challenges either in school or in your job.

In addition to the mental problems that can be caused by this activity, it is also destructive to American family values. Men, in particular, sit glued to the TV during Sunday night football, Monday night football, and now Thursday night football, and if anyone tries to have a conversation with them about anything else, it’s almost as if they are comatose. Remember the chant “War, What is it Good For?” The new chant should be “Network TV Football, What is it Good For… Absolutely Nothing!!”

We’ve all heard the term “Football Widow,” and ain’t it the truth. Most women who are married to men who are football fanatics would love to see professional football banned from network TV. That, of course doesn’t totally solve the problem, because there is still ESPN, ESPN-1, ESPN-2, and only God knows how many ESPN channels there are now. No matter how many there are, any number over one is too many. Actually one is too many, but ESPN could be showing quality sports on TV that actually teach people something of value, such as chess. Chess can teach our children how to think at least four moves ahead of their opponent, which regrettably football does not. Chess is actually a true MAN sport, that teaches genuine strategies, and it is not supported, generally, by beer commercials and advertising for unhealthy foods and other ethyl-methyl bad stuff drinks.

Let’s get it together and get worthwhile TV back on network TV and eliminate all the rubbish programming. The real MEN of the world want to watch something on TV that stimulates brain functions, not something that dulls it. They want something to watch while they eat and drink healthy foods and snacks, and interact with their families. Amen and pass the Aloe Vera Gel.
